Hello, I'm Noushin.
I'm a reporter with the Telegraph-Journal, based in Saint John, New Brunswick. I made way here after completing a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in political science at Ryerson University in Toronto (and it was the most life-altering decision I have ever made).
Previously, I worked as a teaching assistant at the Ryerson School of Journalism and as an associate producer and screener with CBC Radio. Prior to that, I was a social media manager for Global News Radio's Kultur'D, the audio managing editor of The Ryersonian and a news editor for The Eyeopener. My bylines also appear in Spill Magazine, Her Campus Ryerson and CanCulture Magazine.
I have a passion for storytelling in various formats – from print/digital stories, to broadcast journalism, to photojournalism. I have a keen interest in politics, social justice issues, music and stories pertaining to the environment/climate change.
